About us - Don Mills Computers (behind the scenes)

The Store is a Grass roots local startup from feb 28th 2009 and is now approaching it's 4th year in this location, proudly serving the community.
It was started by my wife (Jet) and I (Jeff)
as one of our dreams.
I am proud to say that with alot of hard work and joint co-operation in running the store that it has all been possible. There have been challenges along the way and we thank our loyal customers for understanding during the times we were closed for medical appointments and other reasons.
I am honored that we have accomplished such an incredible goal, while my (late) wife was still alive. This Store is dedicated to her.
In her memory, i will strive to run a quality operation and continue my ongoing hope for breast cancer awareness and an eventual cure.
Charity Work:
There are those in our community that are battling cancer, some of whom are filipina (from philippines) that do not have the benefit of a healthcard, insurance benefits for prescription pain/cancer meds, and are faced with a dilemma that you and I cannot even imagine ... How to pay for your own treatment when you're earning not even minimum wage, and also sending money back home Supporting others in the family.
Often They are working as nanny's , towards their permenant residence status in canada which takes two years.
Four times a year i give a care package to them including some gifts from the store and some usefull household items from the pharmacy including vitamins and food coupons.
If you would like to donate to this cause, You can be assured your money will go to someone very deserving of a 'break' in their lives when the world seems to be crashing around them. There are those that are undergoing radiation therapy, chemo and other toxic drugs that affect everything from daily energy, sleep patterns, hair loss, appetite and many more.

A thank you email will follow your generosity. Any donators of $40 ore more will also receive a 10% discount on their next hardware purchase (including tablets/laptops) and a 40% discount on their next repair service.

Alternatively , you may specify your donation to be made along with my yearly lump sum amount to the GMA Kapuso Foundation which helps the poor, suffering and uninsured in the philippines.
